We had our first major scare this weekend...and hopefully our last! We were at a Japanese restaurant and decided to let him lick a piece of watermelon. Well, a piece got loose and went down the wrong pipe. Sweet Lincoln threw up applesauce (from hours before) all over himself and his mama on and off for about an hour. At one point he started choking and mama had to put into practice the Infant CPR techniques from the class we took. A few days before, we were cleaning out our office and I found the pamphlet and studied it and said "this is one of those things I feel like we should look at to refresh our memory although I will absolutely die if we ever have to use it". We know without a doubt that God was watching out for our precious boy by letting us come across that. We just hope that was the only time we'll have to put it to use! Nathan jokes that Lincoln will probably be 30 before I let him try any more watermelon...he may be right!
This is old, but from our baby dedication at church on Mothers' Day. What a special day! I am 2 for 2 on amazing Mothers' Days. Last year was the day we found out about him and we dedicated him to God this year. What could be better!
He LOVES being entertained! This was a storytelling session.
